This is my first project in Toastmaster. I know that so many false tenses. It does not matter since we are learning. Learn from mistake, right!
I am Ratna, Ratna means a jewel. As a jewel, I hope I could shine and useful for everybody. I spent my childhood in Makassar, living together with my family and having nice memories that could not be forgotten. To pursue my dream, I moved to Jogjakarta to continue my study. You know that it was the first time for me living far away from my family. I was very fear and worried about my life in Jogja. Who would help me if I had problem? Who would arrange matters of me? How to manage my finances? Live must go on. I had to seize the day. Time was running. I had finished my study and I realize that I could overcome my fear and worried. You know that living far away from my family made me more mature than before, more responsible, and independent.
The next step of my life was getting job. I got my first job which located in remote area. It was far away from city, no malls, no cinema, and desolate. I asked to myself, “ could I stay at this place? Would I endure? Live must go on. I had to seize the day. I tried to enjoy my job, my peer and the atmosphere. Every morning I woke up, I could sniff of fresh air, walking in the middle of forest, and heard the bird was twitter. Oh God… It was very peaceful. There was no pollution, no traffic jam, no crowd. I thought I could stay here all along my live initially. Then, It was changed when I decided to move to Jakarta to find another challenges. As capital city, Jakarta has a lot of opportunity to enhance my career, build network, and develop my self such as attending toastmaster meeting.
Actually, I do not like Jakarta initially. Again, live must go on. I have to seize the day. Now, I am here, living in Jakarta, to pursue my dream. I occupy my self by involving some activities beside working. I try to enjoy every time I spent, every breath I took, every place I visited, every body I met.

I have learnt a lot of things from my past life experience. I had to seize the day, do not be worry about something which not happen yet. The important things are enjoy your present, learn from the past and don’ t be worry for the future. Just need working hard and effort to pursue our dream and goal.
